Embryo Songs

Randolf Arriola began playing guitar as a teenager when his uncle Claudio Arriola, drummer for Heritage, introduced him to the band’s highly revered guitarist Shah Tahir, who would become Randolf’s first musical inspiration and mentor. At the age of 15, Randolf bought his first guitar and taught himself how to play. Taking advice from his mentor, each month he diligently studied Guitar Player magazine cover to cover, studying the secrets of Intenational guitar heroes: Chet Atkins, Ritchie Blackmore, Larry Carlton, Eric Clapton, The Edge, Robert Smith, David Gilmour, Michael Hedges, Jimi Hendrix, Allan Holdsworth, Eric Johnson, Mark Knopfler, Pat Metheny, Jimmy Page, Brian Setzer, Andy Summers, Robert Fripp, and Eddie Van Halen among many other heroes in the vast musical styles of the Guitar world.
